Etang Bretain
Location: Boysaway Carping, the Paradis de la Peche fishing complex, which is a family run, three lake complex in the Burgundy region of France. The fishery is set in a thirty acre estate and covers twenty four acres of water.

Description: Is the jewel in our crown at 11acres; this lake is to be developed at the end of the 2009 season. It has been used as a predator lake being the home to Black Bass, Pike and Zander. It’s stated by visitors that this lake could hold the French record for Black Bass. The lake is totally natural and we have not built any swims on it and allow our clients to bivvy up where they want and try for the unknown.
Lake: At present this lake is yet to be developed, however for the angler that wants to fish the unknown it’s certainly appealing. We are at present unable to say what size the Carp are in this lake as it has not been drained for many years.
Stock: We have seen some huge fish in the margins but are yet to catch them, it has been renowned for large Grass Carp and some of our visitors tell stories of being unable to stop some of the fish they have had takes from. However, until we see any of these carp on the bank we will not state any figures.
