Description: Is a beautiful 15 acre lake, set within 35 acres of private grounds in the Lorraine region of France, just 3 1/2 hours drive from Calais (A26, A4 to Verdun). It was originally dug in the 1920's as a gravel pit and is both mature and very well established. The lake is stream fed ensuring excellent water quality. Most swims can be accessed by car. Those that are not, we will transport your equipment to and from swims using our quadbike and trailer. The village is a 2 minute drive or a short walk from the lake. There is a supermarket, butcher, baker, tabac, post office bar and a small hotel.

 Stock: There is a good head of big carp with several known, including a dozen 40lb+ fish to 55lb, with the biggest at just over 60lb.

 Lake: Depths range from 3ft in the Margins, to 7ft in the main body of the lake. There are bars, troughs and an old stream bed in the lake. It has mostly a hard bottom with odd silt patches, no snags to worry about. There are 10 swims of which most are doubles. A maximum of 8 anglers on the lake at any one time, including exclusive bookings. There are no poisson chat. There are no adjacent neighbours and the lake is set well back from the road, so is not overlooked by anybody.

 Facilities: At the lake are excellent. We have running water and clean English flushing toilets at either end of the lake. Freezers are provided for anglers bait and bait boat charging facilities are available. Onsite bailiff 24/7 to assist. We can provide sleeping accommodation for up to 6 anglers (4 singles, 1 double) in the lakeside house at an extra cost per room

French rules only allow fishing from dawn until dusk but this is often the most productive time especially though the holiday season.

Included in the price is tented accommodation but you can upgrade to either a mobile home or a chalet for a small charge should you so wish. A lot of guys like to bring their wives' or girlfriends with them and we would suggest an upgrade in this circumstance for extra privacy.

The Site has a fantastic pool and restaurant area where you can chill out if you don't want to fish all day, and there is always the opportunity of a trip out to the beach to either Nice or Cannes, or alternatively if you fancy a bit of action then you can visit the local water park.

All of our equipment is exactly what you need to fish Cassien so there is no need to bring anything with you other than reels, buzzers and your terminal tackle box. Description: Carp Heaven is a beautiful and very tranquil tree lined lake of almost 15 acres (6 hectares) located in the Burgundy region of France. It is surrounded by woods and pastures grazed by the local white charolais cows.The depth varies from just under 3ft at the shallow end and it gets deeper towards the dam wall where it has depths of up to 8ft with the average of about 5ft.The shallows covers an area of about 4 acres and is an area that the fish love to sunbathe and feed and has 8 islands and 3 swims. The main area of the lake has 11 swims, many of which are doubles.The bottom is a sandy/clay which is quite common with many French lakes and there is very little weed.The lake was emptied in November 2006 when virtually 100% of the snags were removed.The longest cast required is only about 90 - 100 yd's so rods of 2.75lb test with fully loaded bait runners and 2.5oz leads should get you anywhere on this lake and bait boats are permitted.At more than 1/4 mile long, new clients pull into the car park and are delighted to see the lake stretching out before them. Description: Domaine de Brocard is one of our most successful venues in France. No wonder the best pegs are already booked one year in advance. This former hunting domain, with a surface of 300 hectares, consists of 3 lakes surrounded by woodlands. The Lakes: On the first 12 hectare lake (550 m long, 100 wide) a maximum of 8 anglers can enjoy fishing from 4 pegs. They are situated on the south bank where anglers can fish without any possibility of snagging others lines. The gravel path provides good access to the pegs. The lake features over-hanging trees and reed-lined margins and on peg 1 there are some lily pads on the left side. Peg 1 is the only one-angler-peg of the venue. This first lake is stocked with 360 carp between 10 - 55 pounds. Maximum depth is 2 m. In the 2 hectare nurse-pond, fishing is not allowed. The third lake has a surface of 16 hectares and has a good access via a gravel path. Pegs 9 and 10 however can have a more difficult access by car when it rains. The tents stand on wooden pontoons. This lake is not deep, on average there's 1.5 m water and the bottom is soft without obstacles. Between pegs 6 and 7 lies a little island. Swim 12 is new for the 2007 season. Just like the first lake, there are over-hanging trees, reed-lined margins and lily pads in several areas. There are neither freshwater mussels nor crayfish. Take into account that there might be some weed formation when the water gets warmer (end of may, june...). This lake is stocked with 500 carp between 10 and 50 pounds. The North Lake is now an impressive 5 acres. Simon's Lakes is just over 5 acres & The Jolly Pad Lake is 3 acres. Up until now they have been used as stocking lakes for a variety of fish, such as Pike, Zander, Silver fish, Tench and Carp. A lot of these have now been removed to create space for the large Carp.

The bottoms of all the lakes are made up of hard clay and soft clay. At present we are carrying out a planting project, adding reeds and lily pads to the lakes, and trees and bushes to the grassy banks.

The Stock Lakes have been used to breed & grow fish stock for many years. They have been relatively undisturbed for years and the stock have been fed regularly on our pellets and maize and have been introduced to our boilies. The stock lakes will now be used as a resource for growing on our own fish.

All three lakes have undergone extensive work over the winter they have all been drained and all small fish removed they now have level gravel pegs and all have had some lilies and rushes planted to create features and a safe haven for the fish to hide in.

Etang des Royales - is a 25 acre French carp fishing holiday complex nestled amongst a forest setting in France and comprises of two well stocked fishing lakes one containing carp and the other catfish. Description: La Chaussee is a quiet little hamlet of around 6 houses and the lake runs the length of it. About 10/15 minutes away is the town of Pre en Pail where there are numerous shops/bars and garages including a 'Super U' supermarket where you can get all the things you’ll need.

Lake: The lake is 12 acres and an average depth of 2 metres. We have 5 double swims but only ever a maximum of 6 anglers at any one time so there’s always another swim available should you wish for a change of luck not that we think you’d need it.

Stock: 2 ton of Carp went into the lake in February 08. There are commons and mirrors with 7 koi’s and one grass carp as a bonus. They range from 13 lbs upto 35 lbs and a good head of 20lb+ . This was in addition to existing stock so a mystery catch could be on the cards! The lake has never been seriously fished and is over two hundred years old (pre Napoleonic).

 Facilities: We have a new shower block (two showers /toilets/basins) and a dining area overlooking the lake. We have also installed 6 security boxes with plug points in for your personal things ie mobile phone, cameras etc.

Description: The lake is 9 acres, and roughly a rectangle, normally making the whole lake fishable. The row of central islands gives all anglers many islands, bars and features to fish to,and provides a good degree of privacy from the eyes of anglers on the opposite bank. Depths range from 2.5 to 10 feet, and bars and channels have been created at the shallow end. The water is snag and weed free, contains NO nuisance catfish, and very few crayfish.The South side of the lake is bordered by our own dense mature wood, which provides shade during the hottest part of the day, ideal for those who don't like too much heat & sun. The whole of the lake is bordered by mature trees, shrubs & hedgerows, with many overhanging the water. These are obviously magnets for fish, giving excellent margin fishing and opportunities for stalking, which is allowed, providing other anglers are not disturbed. The shallow end has a number of islands, ideal for summer stalking, although there is no fishing in the West bank channel. There are bars and a number of gullies at the shallow end of both arms. Lake: The Lake will comfortably fish six anglers. We will normally only take full lake bookings, but occasionally will set aside an odd week or two where we may be able to take smaller groups or individuals, but please enquire.

Because the lake is so heavily stocked, it may be necessary to run the aeration pumps for short periods, during particularly hot weather. This could result in the temporary closure of swims 1 or 12 & 13.Facilities: The main accommodation is just off the plan, to the left of the North (upper) arm and has a fully fitted kitchen, with full sized cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge and  freezer. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans & kitchen utensils are supplied.  The lounge has easy chairs, table & bench, satellite TV & DVD player.

The bedroom contains a futon with three foot & four foot beds, plus a separate single divan. Bedding is supplied, free of charge. The veranda has a large table and chairs for outside dining, and anglers have their own hard standing car park for four vehicles, right next to the main accommodation.There is a small cabin shown on the above plan, on the Eastern end of the lake, at the back of swims 6 and 7. It includes a patio table and chairs, for inside or outside use. It will also be useful for storage of items not required on the bank. This cabin will comfortably accommodate two bedchairs.
