Lac du Ciel

Location: Nestled in the southern part of the Champagne region just north of Burgundy.

Lac du Ciel

Description: The Haute Marne is an area of France that gives you a glimpse of rural France as the French live, unspoilt by the trappings of other mainstream resort areas. You can tailor your stay to your needs - walking, cycling, fishing, bird watching are all on offer if you are feeling energetic. If you prefer to sit back, relax, kick off your shoes and waggle your toes in the water with a good book and bottle then that’s OK too! Whether you want to go ‘off-grid’ in our sustainable cabin, go ‘glamping’ with your own fab tents and enjoy the setting and facilities.

Stock: Have a lake of one acre, which has 9 * 20lb grass carp ,and we have stocked it with mirror and commons . They are not huge and the fishery is aimed at families.

Facilities: Recently converted, the cabin uses eco friendly technology to provide all the mod cons. Solar panels, composting toilet, rainwater harvesting and wind power have all been used to help you tread softly on your holiday. A double, bunk beds and a double sofa bed provide flexible accommodation whether you are with the family, friends or looking for a romantic retreat.
