In addition to the caravan there is also the added advantage of a brick built cabin which has an open fire, small kitchen and seating area.  Stock: The carp stock amounts to around 500 documented fish ranging from 20's to high 40's with our first 50's due in 2010. The carp are supplemented by catfish up to 80lb mark and a few sturgeon. The fish are all in superb condition and have a reputation for their power and stamina. Being young fish growth rates are proving to be at the top end of expectations and we enjo average increases of at least 5lb per annum with individual carp putting on up to 10lb per year.

Our second lake, willow lake which is 1.6 acres has been drained and re dug, we have re stocked it with some amazing carp 2@ 46lb 3@ 42lb 10@ 40lb 10@ 37lb 3@ 35lb and 12 commons from 30lb to 40lb we had the pick from 300 plus carp which you can see in the video clip below all young carp which will grow fast all with some great scale patterns

Description: After spending many years fishing abroad and previously running a successful fishery in France. Tony Amanda & Denis welcome you to Fox Pool, a 3 acre tranquil lake situated in the Indre region. (Approx. 4 1/2 hours drive from Calais or 1 hour from Limoges airport).

Lake: The lake was created in 1995 purely for leisure purposes & boasts original carp to 25lb. In 2007 the lake was stocked with carp to 45lb,  with nothing under 20lb & the majority over 30lb. This gave an impressive average catch weight of 25lb in our first year of opening!! An additional stocking programme was carried out this winter with carp between 23 - 28lb along with a handful of catfish to 30lb. We continue to improve growth rates by feeding on high quality premier baits & specialist pellets
