Description: St. Leonard’s Carp Lakes are situated in the beautiful countryside of Lower Normandy, in the “Orne” region. The lakes are 1 hour’s drive away from Caen and 3 and half hours away from Calais. (Easy access from the other ports too such as Le Havre, Dieppe and Boulogne and Dunkirk). They are between the pretty village of Ranes and the bigger market town of La Ferte Mace, which has a variety of supermarkets, local produce shops and a market on Thursdays. Food is available at this venue.
