Description: This is a beautiful, rural fishing lake in the Loire Valley set right next to a 17th century watermill in a stunning 15 acres of countryside. Yet it is not too remote, just 2kms from the fascinating medieval market-town of Loches which has all the other facilities you will need. At Le Moulin there are 3 top quality, fully-equipped cottages, a 12x6m heated pool, Jacuzzi and play area. Fishing right on your doorstep has never been more appealing!

Lake and Stock: Our aim at Le Moulin de Boutineau has always been to offer a sustainable lake which is neither over-stocked nor over-fished, which means you can catch pristine, healthy, beautifully marked, strong wild carp that put up a great fight. There are 6 swims (max 4 anglers) with easy, mown walking access all round the carefully maintained 2 acre lake which also has a picturesque island that can be reached by a small bridge. Catch carp up to 40lbs plus grass carp and decent-sized tench and roach in relaxing tranquillity while watching the woodpeckers, kingfishers and red squirrels.

Facilities: There are really very few places in France with a gem of a set up like this. We don’t do ‘shed/shower & survive’ – more ‘double-bed/heated pool & jacuzzi’.
